Monday Night Music:

There is music at the Clubhouse every Monday night at 7 p.m., except on the 3rd Monday of the month. We play tunes together, letting each member choose a song in turn. Instruments usually include guitars, fiddles, keyboards, mandolins, and cellos. We do folk, country, blugrass & Irish tunes, with a few 'Americana' & 'pop' songs thrown in. Occassionally we do performances or special nights devoted to a particular musical genre.

Social Club

The Social Club meets regularly at 1 PM on the 2nd Monday of every month at the Clubhouse. You are invited to attend. The annual dues for 2009/10 year are due June 1st. They are $10 per person or $15 for a family.

BBV Exercise Group: Monday, Wednesday & Friday

9 a.m. at the clubhouse. We begin with low-impact aerobics/dancercise, and move into a session of free weights and stretching. Anyone is welcome to take part in this free fitness activity. For information, call Janet Sharp at 371-3833.

Bridge Club: Practice Bridge: Wednesdays @ 11 a.m.

Coffees On! Tuesdays & Thursdays @ the Clubhouse

Coffee is on starting at 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 every Tuesday & Thursday mornings (except the 4th Thursday of the month, & the 1st Thursday in June & Nov.). We are having the time of our lives discussing current events & just sitting around the 'ol'pot bellied stove'. Food Bank:

If you are interested in donating non-perishable items to the Blaine Food Bank, you may leave your donations in the special box in the BBV Library in the Clubhouse. Check the monthly Bulletin calendar for times the clubhouse will be open.

Helping Hands:

We have a terrific pool of volunteers who are available to provide temporary assistance to those in the Village who are sick, recovering from surgery, have lost a loved one or otherwise need help. Services include providing food or meals, running errands, picking up medicine, helping with children, making emergency repairs, temporary yard work, etc., etc., We have created a list of medical equipment that will be available for short-term use, such as; walkers, wheel chairs, crutches, canes, adult portable potty-chair, etc., etc., Also, we now have baby items for temporary use, such as; cribs, strollers, car seats, etc., etc., If you have a loved one or know of someone who needs a 'helping hand' temporarily, please contact Sandi at 393-4601.

OFFICE NEWS:

Notary at the Office: The Office now has a certified notary. The cost is $10 a signature.
Credit Cards: The Office is finally set up to accept credit cards; Visa & MasterCard only. This system is on a trial basis so if you want it to stay please take advantage of it. There is a 3% increase (4% for foreign cards) on fees for the credit card.
